The EMILY CARR Community Festival of the ARTS and ECOLOGY 2010 is the second great offering of a successful community cultural collaboration first launched in 2008. Our alliance of local business and community leaders is looking for volunteers in a variety of categories: people interested in nature, local food, the arts and culture, and in building community spirit here on the West Shore. We hope you will find your fit among some of the jobs we have to offer this Spring as we celebrate Colwood’s Silver Jubilee, the Canadian Navy Centennial, the 150th birthday of Fisgard Lighthouse, and other important 2010 community milestones.

We welcome folks looking for volunteer experience with community-building cultural events. From assisting with administrative support, being part of the event set-up team, or serving as a festival ambassador helping to spread the word, there are many ways for you to contribute your time and talents.
